We're updating the pricing of the WhatsApp Business Platform to make it simpler and more aligned with industry practices, encourage a higher quality messaging experience for people, and better align it with the value provided to people and businesses. --WhatsApp

This time, we bring two important pricing updates about WhatsApp:

• Service category conversations will be free across the board
• Utility Conversation prices cut in some African countries

It is expected to take effect on November 1, 2024 For this price adjustment, YCloud will follow in tandem.

Since WhatsApp does not specify the exact time of the price change, and in order to avoid billing deviation due to different time zones, the exact time of the billing unit price change is subject to YCloud.

01 Service category dialogues will be free of charge across the board

Starting November 1, 2024, all businesses will be able to use Service Conversations for free (the number of free package conversations is now unlimited, rather than capped at 1,000).

As a reminder, a customer service window must be open between you and the WhatsApp user before you can send a non-template message to the user.

What is the Service dialog?

Service conversations, also known as service conversations, are initiated by the user to the merchant through WhatsApp and are mainly used to help customers with their inquiries.

02 Utility conversation price reductions in selected African countries

Utility conversation rates for 40 African countries, including Angola, Zambia and Kenya, have been reduced from 0.0061 USD to 0.004 USD.Decrease of 34.41 TP3T
